Sharpen your pencils, tune your banjos, and get ready to unleash your creativity, because the inaugural Ecolint Creative Awards has arrived! Whether you’re a budding writer, an aspiring filmmaker, a dancer, or a future TEDx speaker, take this excellent opportunity as your time to shine. These awards, launched as part of the school’s Centenary celebrations, are all about celebrating the talent in our community and demonstrating the power of creativity to drive positive change in the world
Why Enter?
The Ecolint Creative Awards aren’t like your ordinary Oscars, Grammys or Booker Prizes. With a diverse range of subjects, they’re a brilliant opportunity to showcase your talents, committing to the core values of creativity, sustainability and and community spirit. Additionally, these awards aim to bring together students, staff, alumni, and parents to push the boundaries of creativity all adhering to the themes of:
- Education for Peace
- Education for All
- Education for the Planet’s Future
The aim with this project is that you take these guiding themes, and convey them through powerful artwork.
Categories You Can Enter in
We’ve got something for everyone, so hear ye all you propitious poets, aspiring Spielbergs, sword swallowers and singers: boy do we have the opportunity for you! Our art forms stretch across a wide variety of categories, including:
- Music
- Film
- Creative Writing
- Visual Arts
- Performing Arts
- Public Speaking / TEDx Talk
If you’re passionate about one of these art forms (or a combination of any) and are ready to share your work with the world, then don’t hesitate– venture on!
Key Dates to Mark in Your Calendar
The Sistine Chapel wasn’t painted in a day, and nor was Madame Webb written overnight. If you’re still on the fence or need time to prepare your chef d’oeuvre, there’s still plenty of time. Here are some key dates:
- Entry deadline: March 30th, 2025
- Jury Selection: January 1st – April 30th, 2025
- Awards Announcement: June 17th, 2025
Who Can Enter?
Students, staff, alumni, and parents—if you’re part of the Ecolint community, you’re eligible to participate. It’s open to all ages and all levels of experience, so whether you’re a seasoned artist or just getting started, the floor really is yours.

Jury If you’re keen on participating in these awards, however are cursed with the voice of a cat being dragged down the street, have about as much charisma as a broken toaster, or just generally would rather engage with and comment on art rather than make it yourself, then you can equally apply to be a part of the jury. Your job as juror will be to comment (in a wholly unbiased manner) on your favourite applications, and work together with other jurors to select the winners.
