Students have been asking for it for months, and it’s finally here: the official LGB Teacher Superlatives.
These were all voted on by students, and in situations where there were ties for the number of votes, multiple teachers have been included. Please note these are lighthearted and do not reflect the personal opinions of the LGB Express staff.
Most likely to be mistaken for a student: Mr. Ornat
When asked for comment, he said “I mean was there really competition”
Most likely to forget they have a class: M. Gatta, Mr. Manchala, and Mr. Jennings
Multiple respondents chose to point out that M. Gatta has, in fact, recently forgotten he has a class.
Most quotable: Mr. Eddis
Most memorable/iconic stories: Mr. Stack
On this, Mr. Stack says “I haven’t even started my stories”.
Most likely to have a flip phone: Mr. Brabec
He says “It’s probably true, I have owned a flip phone. I did have a flip phone recently, but then 2G quit working.” However, dismissing popular rumor as to the type of phone he has now, he said “It’s not a flip phone, it’s a Nokia”.
Most sarcastic: Mr. Eddis and Mr. Hines
Best music taste: Mr. Stack
Most likely to follow all their students online after they graduate: Mr. Manchala
Most likely to give you a lesson on something unrelated to the subject: Mr. Khimji and Mr. Rodriguez
Most likely to party with their students: Mr. Phillips
Scariest death stare: Mr. Hines
Best classroom decoration: Ms. Kretzmeier
Most intimidating vocabulary: Mr. Hines and Ms. Power
Students were also asked which 2 departments they think hate each other the most. The winner was English vs. French, closely followed by English vs. Math and History vs. Geo.
However, when asked about the history department’s rivalries, Mr. Stack said “We like everyone”.
