Who’s Most Likely To… LGB Teachers

By Sabine Ebanks, Year 12

Students have been asking for it for months, and it’s finally here: the official LGB Teacher Superlatives.

These were all voted on by students, and in situations where there were ties for the number of votes, multiple teachers have been included. Please note these are lighthearted and do not reflect the personal opinions of the LGB Express staff.

Most likely to be mistaken for a student: Mr. Ornat

When asked for comment, he said “I mean was there really competition”

Most likely to forget they have a class: M. Gatta, Mr. Manchala, and Mr. Jennings

Multiple respondents chose to point out that M. Gatta has, in fact, recently forgotten he has a class.

Most quotable: Mr. Eddis

Most memorable/iconic stories: Mr. Stack

On this, Mr. Stack says “I haven’t even started my stories”.

Most likely to have a flip phone: Mr. Brabec

He says “It’s probably true, I have owned a flip phone. I did have a flip phone recently, but then 2G quit working.” However, dismissing popular rumor as to the type of phone he has now, he said “It’s not a flip phone, it’s a Nokia”.

Most sarcastic: Mr. Eddis and Mr. Hines

Best music taste: Mr. Stack

Most likely to follow all their students online after they graduate: Mr. Manchala

Most likely to give you a lesson on something unrelated to the subject: Mr. Khimji and Mr. Rodriguez

Most likely to party with their students: Mr. Phillips

Scariest death stare: Mr. Hines

Best classroom decoration: Ms. Kretzmeier

Most intimidating vocabulary: Mr. Hines and Ms. Power

Students were also asked which 2 departments they think hate each other the most. The winner was English vs. French, closely followed by English vs. Math and History vs. Geo.

However, when asked about the history department’s rivalries, Mr. Stack said “We like everyone”.
