For the past two weeks, StuCo has been hosting a dodgeball tournament. With numerous teams (5 people each) competing, from each year group, the games were held on Monday and Wednesday breaks, and Thursday lunches. Following several intense and close rounds, the final teams advanced.
They will continue playing for the ultimate prize this week, and we invite everyone to come and watch. Each session consisted of as many rounds as time allowed and was supervised by StuCo and the PE department.
The standard rules were applied: a hit below the head counted, and if a ball was caught, one person could come back in. Everyone seemed to have a great time and showed great sportsmanship!
However, it’s not all over yet! Following the final, each team competing in the competition will have a chance to play against the administration on Wednesday during morning break. The staff were keen to be able to participate, and it promises to be an interesting series of matches.
We hope that in the future, even more teams will wish to participate in the forthcoming tournaments. They are a great way to play with your friends and show some school spirit!
