LGB is full of incredibly talented people, ranging from all sorts of talents to fascinating hobbies. Sacha Pace, for example, is a master of photography. However, we often don’t get to appreciate their work enough. So, to help highlight his talent, we decided to ask him some questions.
How did your passion for photography start?
“My mum used to take a lot of pictures and my godfather is the official photographer of Ecolint. So photography is something quite obvious now for me.”
How did you develop your photography?
“Well, photography is something that I find really interesting. I started to take pictures on my Phone, but the quality with phones is not as good. I then bought a camera and started to take pictures in my garden.”
Do you plan them or just randomly take them when you spot an interesting location or object?
“The first pictures I took were planned, with a friend we went all around the Lac Leman and we took some pictures of all kind of things… cars, bridges and also a church. But now I try to take some random pictures, I feel that it is easier because I don’t need to think a lot about how to take the picture and sometimes I see that the picture “comes to me” because I directly see how to take it and with which angle.”
Do you use certain features more than others (blur or others)?
“My favorite filter for the picture is black and white, I also try to play with shadows in my pictures.”
And some of his pictures…
