Time Warp was a risky adventure directed by Amanda Linden. But the risk paid off brilliantly much to the enjoyment of the audience. Performances were up to par if not better than the last venture: Seussical the Musical, with standout roles by Raquel Fernandez, Niccolo Aylward, Chloe Sautereau, and Eva Ciss, who played lead roles in Schuyler Sisters and Lion King, among others. Infinite praise has to go to Music Director Mr. Davies and his team, who accompanied the musical with another great performance.
Imogen Lewis, who starred in You’ve Got to be Carefully Taught, Happiness, and the Sister Act, was ecstatic after Saturday’s show: “It’s about the experience. Doing these shows, putting so much time into it, working late, it really brings the group together.” she exclaimed. “Now we’re going to go celebrate”.
A warm thank you goes out to all the actors and actresses; you were incredible! (You also got us out of French homework so psst keep up the good work).
Musicals will always hold a special spot in the memories of any LGB student. Les Mis, Seussical, The Wizard of Oz, and every other musical before and yet to be has near-professional standards. In comparison to the LGB greats, Time Warp and every weird and wonderful bit of it do not disappoint.
