If we believed in happiness
And left behind the numerous jokes
Maybe we’d feel less bitterness
Rising up inside us, folks
But these thoughts they never left
They stayed locked up within the stalls
These halls of such a ponderous heft
That none could ever escape their walls
It was weird to think of things
That brought to life some memories
It was strange to spread my wings
Having in mind only worries
‘Cause there were noises in my head
Expressing mixed tones of honesty
And those thoughts, by now, all dead
Left behind a spark of misery
