ImagiNotes is a new online platform built by three LGB students to make studying for the IB easier, more organized, and genuinely helpful. It started with a simple but common frustration of too many students not having the right notes when they need them most. Students frequently need to revise using unclear and insufficient materials because classes can be hard to follow, teachers may be unclear or students might miss lessons. ImagiNotes offers a solution by creating one central space where students can upload and access high-quality notes, past papers, study guides and other useful resources. Everything is sorted by subject and by type. This was intended to make it simple to navigate and focused entirely on the IB curriculum.
The platform accepts all file types like typed documents, PDFs, scanned handwritten pages. It is open to any kind of material that might help someone understand a topic better. It is free to use (for now), and the goal is to build a global IB student community where people can learn from each other. It is completely student-driven: the more you give, the more you get out of it. Users gain XP points whenever they upload content to ImagiNotes through its reward system. With XP, they upgrade their badge, their status. The badge hierarchy starts at “Uncultured” and advances through levels that include “Bookworm” and “Scholar” before obtaining rare titles such as “The Source” or “The Final Mystery”. Badges get gradually harder to obtain and this pushes users to keep adding and improving the content on the platform. Users can earn recognition through this system while others receive motivation to share their resources.
While the basic features are already in place, there is a lot more planned for the near future. Features like adding friends, seeing user profiles, and a leaderboard to track top contributors are currently being developed. The platform will introduce both a daily streak system and a “spin the wheel” game to reward users who maintain consistent attendance. ImagiNotes is still growing, and it won’t be perfect from day one — but it is already something useful, and it is only going to get better. The platform is launching soon, and whether you are trying to catch up, revise more effectively, or just help others succeed, ImagiNotes is here to change the way IB students study.
